Gelson Preza is an Associate Controller at GLS Capital, where he supports the finance and operations team across accounting, valuation, financial planning, audit, and tax functions.
Before joining GLS, Gelson was a Senior Associate at Baker Tilly Advisory Group in Chicago, focusing on the real estate, commercial, and private equity sectors. In his role, he performed tax compliance and financial due diligence for middle-market clients while developing strong expertise in U.S. GAAP reporting, partnership capital account maintenance, and private fund structures.
Gelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University.
