GLS Capital announced that Michael (“Mick”) Biehl has joined the firm as a vice president and member of the commercial litigation investment team.

In his new role, Biehl focuses on diligence around qualified underwriting opportunities, as well as monitoring and managing the firm’s commercial litigation investments.
Biehl most recently was a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he managed all facets of complex commercial and class action litigation. He earned his J.D. (with honors) from the University of Chicago Law School and his Bachelor of Arts (with honors) from Washington University in St. Louis.
